All Shook Up Playing at the Palace Theatre
The Palace was originally built in 1913 and was the premier vaudeville theater on Broadway from 1913 until 1932. The Palace was originally owned by Martin Beck, the Architect was Kirchoff & Rose and was built with a seating capacity of 1,736. This top American theater has been the host to performers such as Will Rogers, Eddie Cantor and Jack Benny. The Palace underwent a 3-year renovation and is now, once again, one of the premiere houses on Broadway with a setting capacity of 1,743. Included with the renovations, the Palace was encased in a high rise hotel in 1990 and it’s original interior is magnificently preserved.
